Saturday I got accepted as an editor on the ODP and spend much of my precious alone time after Lakota fell asleep reading about the editor tools. I stayed up till a bit after 2 AM then slept on the couch as Lakota was in my bed. Cletus woke me up twice barking at the gods only know what. Lakota woke me up coughing twice. The alarm sounded off at 6:30 because I forgot to turn it off. I had to pee once (which I’m amazed I just didn’t go while I was up earlier). At some point I had to run out & make sure that the shed was closed (that’s where the chicks are). Cyndi woke me up when she got home and promised that we could go to yard sales if I got my ass moving… my ass has just stopped moving. We ran all over the place getting more chickens, mater plants, dropping chickens off here, delivering extras to some Amish friends. We headed to Lowes after that to pick up wood to build a coop. Then we had a small picnic with Amanda & Perrin which didn’t last all that long. After that we built the better part of said coop. 12 hours later Lakota & I got to roast some marshmallows. We didn’t have any hersy bars, but we did have a Mr. Goodbar…which is not the greatest of substitutes…but was good anyway Here are some crappy cell pix SundayI’ve worked my ass off today & am going to sleep. Tomorrow I promise I’ll be able to sit down for more then an hour (hell, more then a half hour) without needing to get back up and do something. The chicken coop is built! (I’ll get pics up later) And the chicks are happily living in it now. Monday I crashed last night like a sack of potatoes and the world could have crashed down around me and likely not have waken me up. Though I did wake up…at 4:30, am still up, and will stay up. I’m unsure if I got enough sleep but I’m positive I’ve not had enough coffee….

A day of mixed emotions.

Today was an odd day to say the least. I had Perrin as usual, but Lakota was over as well. This was odd, but was an overall good thing. She is on spring break and am thrilled to have her over for most of this week. When Cyndi got back from work we headed out to Memories (our favorite restaurant).

Yesterday I went off on DigitalPoint about the woes of the ODP….today my application for editor was approved. I’ve only just started to read the guidelines & other resources…so it will likely be a bit before I get much done there. I wonder if my posts will come back & bite me in the backside? Oh well…

I think I was the proud part in the fall out between friends…I can not go in to details, but one of them said bad things about me which pertained to the other person. In my reply I send the message to both parties as I felt the other person needed to know. This places me in the middle of some strange triangle (and by strange I mean all three of us are in the middle). As I said I can’t go into details (as I don’t want to publicly name names) but it certainly was the oddity icing on the funny triangle shaped cake that I’ve called today.

I wonder what my Horoscope was…

I’ve added two plugins to my WP

The first asks a silly question like what color is orange? which must be answered in order to make a comment. This supposedly works as well as Capcha (vs. bots) and should cut down on spam (which Wordpress is pretty well known for). But hey…I’m getting what I’m paying for

The other offers a plethora of wonderful bookmarking sites that you can tag my blog to. This is something I encourage as spreading my site by Word of Mouth is a GRAND thing

I’m not sure about liking this skin though…but I like the white/grey (if you could not tell from the OC) but *shrug* I’ll figure something out…
